Hey, I noticed you like The Mars Volta.

We have a Mars Volta group here on deviantART, and we thought you'd like to join. If you do, send us a note, or reply to this message. :)

please, if you have to say something send a note, stop spamming my comments page!

my GIMP work is going to be posted only to [link] these days, this account will most likely only house vector and Photographic work.

GIMP 2.0 is the version that 1.3 will become when it goes stable, you wont want to install it over the top of 1.3, it'll be much better.

when, well, when it's ready, in a few months maybe, be patient and help out with testing.

of course it will stay free(in every sense of the word), what kind of question is that?

the main changes are just to the UI and tools, remember, you can always go and download more scripts and plug-ins when you want them.

hi phill, thx for comment.

Well, returning to mdi, i made it[link] becasuse i was very tired of gimp interface. Especially when using 15" :-) (Smile) Now dialogs are dockable in 1.3.x and it simplify a lot. I love Fullscreen mode in 1.3, however why is dialog with tools hidding. /me don't know. Brush shaped cursor is great. One exception: it works slower than 1.2, so i must enlarge my 256 ram and get faster cpu (1.7+).

bye :-) (Smile)

You're right on that Phil. I use KDE on my Linux PC because it feels very good on the way I like an interfase. I use that PC mostly as a file server, so it's good as it is. :) (Smile)

Dear Phil. I've used used The GIMP on Linux since the first version and I've not found it nearly acceptable to PS 7 standards. It crashes just as any other Linux program does on KDE, so I don't deem it as professional worthy at all. The only advantage that really has, is that's freeware.

In a Windows environment, I would rather prefer PS than GIMP anytime.
